Egypt's central bank has not ordered banks to halt transactions in Qatari riyals, an Egyptian official told Reuters on Monday. Some Egyptian banks earlier halted dealings with Qatari banks, responding to Cairo's announcement that it had cut ties with Qatar, accusing it of supporting terrorism.
