China hands over billions of dollars to revive growth in Middle East
China’s president Xi Jinping has pledged $20bn in loans and $1.6bn in aid to countries in the Middle East to revive economic growth. Development has been key to tackling security problem in the Middle East, the president told a Beijing conference with 21 representatives from Arab nations on Tuesday.
